Carlow town remains completely desolate due to the cold snap, and some of John Carpenter’s eerie synth horror soundscapes from a tannoy system on top of the cathedral would very much be tuned to the mood of the place. I probably couldn’t be listening to a less suitable soundtrack than the latest South Rakkas Crew release. It’s available for free via the Mad Decent site. Expect some serious jump up electro-dancehall smashers and major shout along ruckus tunes.
