Gigs and Bank Balances

Really, I know there’s some sort of ethical form to editing your blog posts after hitting the publish button – but those block qoutes of text nicked from promo posts were hitting my auld eyes like a juggarnaut.
This Bank Holiday brings us a heady frontal attack on the old balances. First there’s the Vinny Club album launch from the Richter Collective at Andrew’s Lane on Saturday.
Then name game warrior and street bass, laptop champion Starkey at McGruders on Sunday. Or as a break from bass, we’ve Santogold and in support that bloke Boy 8 Bit providing a danceable thump that could work well as a follow on from the Richter outing on Sunday too.
And of course the RnL fundraiser is on Friday to leave you all hungover as you settle into your weekend of indecision. Really, its probably best to just get the hell out of the city. Maybe to feel somewhat virtuous after the messing, there’s the Grassroots Gathering on over round Cork St direction that’s worth hitting up.
