If blogging was a shoot out at dawn on the set of a dusty spaghetti western, then I’d be fucked. The lightening quick typing fingers of Sam from CHTM has this one up first. Through out the month of February a cohort of promoters are organizing a sequence of Friday night shin digs in the basement of Murrays which, and don’t hold me to it, is meant to be undergoing something of a refurbishment.

First up will be myself this Friday, with the barely afloat ship of Soundtracksforthem.com presenting a piss up, shits and giggles for the sake of it sort of affair with young bassline producer Yeahbuzz leading the charge.  Kid Kongo from the Data Crew (and more besides) in Galway is up to with a selection of jacking dancefloor bombs. He’s been kind enough to drop us the wee mix below which will give you a flavor of his sets.

After this gig there’s three more, with all details over at Come Here To Me.  This is probably one of those moments, where the language of a punk scene meshes with The League of Gentlemen to become somewhat relevant.   Basically, come down, and support local people playing local gigs in small venues that’ll tolerate our nonsense.
